Living in active addiction screams LONELY ... 24/7. We are stuck in the insane thinking of me, myself and I. And who wants that person as their teammate in life? Sobriety allows us to become a beautiful swan, amongst a group of other beautiful swans - companions and true friendships - the truth is that we NEED people! We are meant to love and be loved. It only happens when we put the drink on the shelf ... and don’t pick it up. EVER!
